Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) was the probably the most effective tool out there for dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma, but as with anything, things develop, change and improve over time.
Nick Davies’ BLAST Technique® has been described as “EMDR on steroids!”, it has been created, developed and refined to work faster and more effectively with PTSD and trauma utilising the brains natural processing systems, rather than being just an ‘eye movement’ or ‘confusion technique’.

The course is accredited by the ACCPH (ACCPH the Professional Body for Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Clinical Hypnotherapists) and also counts towards your Continual Professional Development (CPD).
Course prerequisites: As this a continual professional development (CPD) course, you must be trained in a base therapy e.g. Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Counselling, LCSW (US Qualification), and have full insurance to qualify. This home study, exam and online version is unlikely to suit those with learning disabilities. If in doubt contact us for an informal chat.
The training combines home study, exam submission and ‘live’ training online over Zoom on Saturday & Sunday 11th & 12th July 2026 from 3 pm UK/10 am EST until 6 pm UK/1 pm EDT on both days. It’s a one off £695 per person (no monthly fees), and you will receive a 35-page set of detailed handouts, a “BLAST Technique® Practitioner” certificate, plus free access to a private Facebook discussion group* purely for registered BLAST Technique® Practitioners, plus 2 awesome BLAST Technique® “Neuralyzer” pens!
As an added bonus, you will receive TWO Specialist Training packages (with 2 hour videos and handouts) worth £200; ‘Treating Grief’, and our ‘BLAST Technique® Stacking Protocol’ as a bonus.
NB: If you wish to repeat the course and do the latest version (currently v17), you will be able to obtain a 50% discount provided you can supply sufficient evidence i.e. a scan of your certificate, that matches our records.
Once you have passed your exam and finished the ‘live’ online training you will get free access to a private Facebook discussion group* purely for registered BLAST Technique® Practitioners.

Once paid, we will send your materials to you by registered post and email some accompanying videos for you to study before the course, you will be expected to return a completed exam paper by the Wednesday prior to the live training. In order to get all your materials to you on time, payment must be made by the latest Thursday 18th June 2026 for those based in USA/Canada/Rest of World, or Thursday 2nd July 2026 for UK residents.
